Persons eligible to play with the Aurora Soccer Club (Zone 3) are:
Those born in 2005-2018 and residing in Zone 3. Zone 3 is composed of the following neighborhoods:
Registrations will not be accepted for underage players (born after 2020). Underage players who have not already played a full season as a registered player with Aurora will be placed on a team if they evaluate to Division 3 or higher, otherwise, they will be returned to their Community Association for the season. It is advised that underage players register with their Community Association as well.
Where a player has more than one legal guardian who live in separate residences, the player shall make a one-time choice as to which guardian shall be used to determine his/her residence. Registration in a zone of one of the guardians shall be the one-time choice.
**Please note the new rules from SYSI that pertain to players playing illegally (ie. false address or without the authorization to play out of zone) in a Zone.
9 A. If the zone can demonstrate that it has made reasonable efforts to determine Residency and is unaware that the parent and/or player has submitted a false registration, the zone will not be fined.
10. A Parent and/or Player found to have or be submitting a false address or an address that is not within the zone they register with, will be subject to a $100 fine (first offense) or $500 fine (subsequent offences), plus a 3 game suspension (first offense) and 5 game suspension (subsequent offenses) will be issued to the Player and the Player will be sent back to there home zone for the remainder of the season.
