Welcome our Male Head Coach for the Outdoor Season: Daniel Alvarado
We are pleased to have Daniel Alvarado join Aurora Soccer Club for the Outdoor 2025 season as our Male Head Coach! Please take a moment to read a short bio one him:
"I am a professional football coach with over 15 years of experience in player development and coach education. I began my career as a Physical Education teacher at Universidad Andrés Bello in Chile, and later specialized as a Professional Football Coach at the National Football Institute (INAF). My academic background also includes a master's degree and diploma in higher education teaching, along with multiple international courses and seminars such as the FIFA Player Development Programme (2015).
For eight years, I worked at Club Deportivo Audax Italiano, a Chilean first division team, where I managed the youth teams and collaborated on elite player development projects. Since moving to Canada in 2019, I've been part of the Lakewood Soccer Association and the Astra Soccer Academy, where I won provincial championships two years in a row before progressing to nationals with youth teams, and proudly represented Saskatchewan in national competitions.
My greatest motivation is to contribute to the growth of local football by developing players with strong values and supporting coaches in a positive and professional environment.
Off the pitch, my family is my biggest pride and driving force. I enjoy spending quality time with my wife and children, exploring the city through different activities, and sharing our traditional family barbecues, which are at the heart of my personal life."
