We are pleased to have Javier Reyes join Aurora Soccer Club for the Outdoor 2025 season as our Female Head Coach! Please take a moment to read a short bio one him:
"Originally from Colombia, Javier relocated to Canada in 2017 with his wife, making Saskatoon their home while raising their two children. Since then, he has become a prominent figure in the local soccer community, contributing to the development of athletes at all levels—from grassroots to the University Soccer program. Through his work, Javier has played a key role in shaping the next generation of soccer talent in the province.
With extensive experience in player and coach development, sport science, and high-performance environments, Javier has continually refined his ability to drive long-term growth for both athletes and coaches alike.
Javier holds a Master’s in Sport Physiology, a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, and a Sports Management Certification, along with several other professional qualifications. He has had the privilege of working internationally in Colombia, Argentina, and Cuba, where he held significant roles in professional and high-performance soccer settings, including Sports Manager, Head Coach, and Technical and Sport Science Director.
His coaching credentials are extensive, including the Canada Soccer Association (CSA) National B License, CONMEBOL Professional A and Youth A Licenses, and the CSA National Youth and Children’s Licenses."
