Public Health Services, Saskatchewan Soccer Association, & Saskatoon Youth Soccer has provided guidance to soccer clubs to support safe play throughout all phases of the governing body’s Return-to Play strategy. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there exists a heightened awareness that sport activities will expose not only players, coaching staff, & operations staff to risk of illness.
Aurora Soccer Club will be diligent in ensuring all safety measures will be in place & operationalized during all club activities, including: evaluations, training, & games. Safety measures will include: player & team staff screening, hand hygiene practices, illness management & reporting. Team illnesses will be closely monitored by Aurora staff ensuring players and team staff return to play only when safe to do so.
Aurora Soccer Club understands that there will be reluctance in returning to sport, we can reassure our members that we will meet & exceed public health recommendations in ensuring a safe playing & overall soccer experience! Safety measures will be posted and accessible on our website.
